Develop yourself, keep the flame burning and make conscious steps towards high engagement within your organization. Conclude with a personal master plan that takes your Legacy to the next level – guided by experienced facilitators and guest speakers.

Preparation
Intake in which we discuss your goal(s).
A first insight in your personality profile (Birkman report). You fill out a questionnaire beforehand and receive your Personality report during the intake.

During the trainingweek
At a beautiful location on the Dutch coast you will experience a varied program, in which your personal development as a leader is central and contributes to your Legacy.

What can you expect?
The common thread in the program is increasing ‘Engagement’ in a methodical way. In doing so, we encounter the following themes:

  • Steps to Engagement increase
  • Responsibility on an individual and social level
  • Meaning and passing on meaning

Day 1: The Legacy of winners and survivors (ashore)

  • Introduction and tour on the ship the Boudragon under the guidance of Hans Bouscholte. You prepare for the sailing trip that will take place on day 4.
  • Self-insight and insight into others with personality instrument (Birkman method). This takes place ashore.
  • City walk

Day 2 and 3: The Legacy route (ashore)

  • The steps to organizational commitment require an honest look at your own engagement and what drives you.
  • We will go through the steps of engagement and see what this means for you in your organization.

Day 4: Headwinds as a driving force (at sea)

  • This is the day on the Holland Ocean race ship. You will be challenged to assume your role under the guidance of Hans Bouscholte and sailing talents. Together with the other participants you will face the test of what it takes to perform, as a team, like a well-oiled machine.
  • Themes: leading and following, (re)seeing fixed patterns, teamwork and responsibility.

Day 5: The Masterplan forward (ashore and at sea).

  • On this day you present your masterplan. Translate experiences of this week into concrete steps forward in this action plan.
  • We invite a guest, a leader, who has made his or her mark and together with the group we hold your Master Plan up to the light. We end this day with tapas on the beach.
  • We discuss supervision moments in the nearby future.

Result

  • You have tools to methodically increase engagement in your organization.
  • You know the aspects that increase your Legacy and have experienced the effect of applying them.
  • You receive your Birkman profile, bound in a report.
  • You have experienced what it takes to sail a racing sailboat.
  • You are guided by sailing trainees on the boat to sail faster than the wind.
  • You learn to break through possible inner barriers by having positive, empowering experiences.
  • After the training you will receive support, supervision and optional coaching.

Approach
Interactive learning, on shore and at sea. Network with other leaders, facilitators who hold up a mirror to you. Varied and adventurous program.

Facilitators
The group consists of a maximum of 12 participants. This training is given by two facilitators with knowledge of bussiness and psychology.
